JAMIE DURRENCE

Managing Partner

A resident of downtown Savannah since 1998, Jamie Durrence has a great appreciation for the community and is glad to share in its uniqueness.

A restaurateur for over 15 years with a tenured work history in some of Savannah’s favorite venues,  Durrence is noted for his ambitious entrepreneurial spirit and brings a vast amount of expertise and functional creativity to his concepts.

The driving force behind the restaurants, he strives to maintain the highest standard of food and service quality by building the relationships between the kitchen, service staffs, and patrons. These relationships package together a friendly, approachable, and welcoming atmosphere that is unmistakable in the remarkable reviews and customer appreciation.

Raised on a working farm in Glennville, Georgia one hour west of Savannah, Durrence graduated from the Savannah College of Art & Design and first worked in New York City for Carolina Herrera and later as Product Manager for Liz Claiborne’s Ellen Tracy label.

He is a decorated national champion equestrian, believes that hard work and dedication are paramount, and that success in all things is measured through integrity.

CALEB POPPELL

Operations Manager

A native of Savannah, Caleb Poppell has a deep love for our unique southern city and the wonderfully diverse community it hosts. He sings praises for Savannah to anyone who will lend an ear to listen.

Poppell has been in the food and beverage industry for over a decade, with most of those years behind a bar. He developed a passion for cocktails, spirits, wine, and the spirit of hospitality through these years. He has worked at a variety of concepts in Savannah, St. Thomas, and St. John.

Wine was a subject that he always had a particular interest in. The fact that a bottle of wine is a passport to a different place, culture, and history is something that has him searching for the next bottle to explore constantly.

In 2022 Poppell decided to further his career in wine by pursuing a path of rigorous certifications through the Court of Master Sommeliers. That year he passed his introductory exam with a perfect score, followed by passing his level two certified exam just four months later. He is currently in pursuit of his level three advanced exam with plans to pursue this path to the title of Master Sommelier.

Poppell brings an enthusiastic spirit to our team. Whether the subject is wine, food, or how to deliver an unforgettable experience to the next guest to walk through our doors, he is doing so with a genuine smile on his face.

ALYSSE SWEENEY

Alysse credits her intensive design background – she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design with a minor in Architecture from Savannah College of Art and Design- with her success in Savannah’s wedding industry over the past six years. During that time, she has designed and run well over 200 weddings while developing fantastic working relationships with the area’s top-notch vendors, a fact on which she prides herself more than any other area of her success because it speaks to her personable, detail-oriented and get-results reputation in the industry. She has a passion and that passion is what makes her unique. When she’s not working a wedding you will likely find her spending some quality time with her fiance, James and their dachsador, Taylor and their german shepherd, beagle mix, Callie.
